ABB has introduced a range of variable frequency drives (VFDS) that will enhance the performance of smart buildings and enable users to meet stricter energy efficiency regulations.

The ACH580 VFDs is integrated with ABB's Capability Monitoring Service, ABB's cross-industry digital offering that provides real-time data on drive status and performance from any location. Monitoring parameters include drive availability, environmental conditions, and failure events.

The control panel helps monitor activity and anticipate possible operational issues and maintenance needs.

The optional Bluetooth function works in hard-to-reach places. Bluetooth also supports connectivity with ABB capabilities, enabling users to access remote assistance services through the Drivetune app.
