Description

System interface MLink is an industrial PC equipped with interface cards and ports for internal communication with the control system and external communication with the process control system.

An MLink can communicate internally with up to 60 controls. If more than 60 MC controls are required, additional links must be used.

Hardware type and technical data

The configuration of MLink depends on the selected communication protocol with the DCS.

The communication interface protocols are as follows

- PROFIBUS DP (-VO) and PROFIBUS DP-V1

- Modbus RTU/TCP

- PROFINET IO

All types of MLink can implement system functions such as MLink Network Interface (MView).OPC connection and timestamp.

Power source

MLink requires 24 volts DC power. Connect the terminal plug on the right side of the device:

- Connect terminal 1 to +24V DC voltage

- Terminal 2 Connects to the OV DC power

Software module

Depending on the initial configuration, MLink contains different software modules. Software modules are available upon request. The following software modules are available:
