网络接口模块指光口和电口。

光口是指光纤接口，光口的线缆上传输的是光信号，常见的光口都是可插拔光模块的接口，规格从100M~100G都有。电口又即RJ45口，插双绞线的端口（网线），是处理电信号的，一般速率为10M、100M，最大为1000M，最大传输距离为100m。电口又可以分为固定端口以及光电模块接口两种。

网线转接模块的连接方法如下：

把网线的外皮剥离掉一部分，大概露出2cm左右线长即可。

选定好标准规则，把线头放入线槽中。一般使用较多的是T568B标准，在使用三类双绞线、五类双绞线、增强的五类双绞线的网络工程中一般遵循T568B的接线标准，在使用五类双绞线时，其传输速率可达到100Mbps。

用工具把线用力的压下去，将其卡在模块里即可，并把多余的线头剪掉。然后把其他的线头都剪齐即可。

扣锁帽确保铜线全部端接并防止滑动，扣锁帽多为透明，以方便观察线与金属夹子的咬合情况。

把网线模块扣入到面板模块中。

在面板与遮罩板之间的缺口位置用手掰开遮罩板。

Network interface modules refer to optical ports and electrical ports.
