多输入、多输出(MIMO)收发器架构广泛用于高功率RF无线通信系统的设计。作为迈入5G时代的一步,覆盖蜂窝频段的大规模MIMO系统目前正在城市地区进行部署,以满足用户对于高数据吞吐量和一系列新型业务的新兴需求。高度集成的单芯片射频收发器解决方案(例如,ADI新推出的ADRV9008/ADRV9009产品系列)的面市促成了此项成就。在此类系统的RF前端部分仍然需要实现类似的集成,意在降低功耗(以改善热管理)和缩减尺寸(以降低成本),从而容纳更多的MIMO通道。

Multiple input, Multiple output (MIMO) transceiver architecture is widely used in the design of high power RF wireless communication systems. As a step into the 5G era, massive MIMO systems covering cellular bands are currently being deployed in urban areas to meet the emerging needs of users for high data throughput and a range of new services. The launch of highly integrated single-chip RF transceiver solutions, such as ADI's new ADRV9008/ADRV9009 product family, contributed to this achievement. Similar integration is still needed on the RF front end of such systems, with the aim of reducing power consumption (to improve thermal management) and size (to reduce cost) to accommodate more MIMO channels.

The MIMO architecture allows for relaxation of RF power requirements for building blocks such as amplifiers and switches. However, as the number of parallel transceiver channels increases, so does the complexity and power consumption of the peripheral circuits. ADI's new high-power switch using silicon technology was developed specifically to simplify RF front-end design, eliminating the need for peripheral circuitry and reducing power consumption to negligible levels. ADI's new high-power switch based on silicon technology gives RF designers and system architects the flexibility to increase the complexity of their systems without making the RF front end a design bottleneck.

In time division duplex (TDD) systems, the antenna interface incorporates a switching function to isolate and protect the receiver input from the power of the transmitted signal. This switching function can be used either directly on the antenna interface (in relatively low power systems, as shown in Figure 1) or in the receiving path (for higher power applications) to ensure proper connection to the duplexer. Having a parallel branch on the switch output will help improve isolation performance.

The specific product application areas of the ABB SC610 digital input module depend on user needs and industrial application scenarios. It can be widely used in manufacturing, chemical, power, water treatment, transportation and other industries. Common application areas include:
