All configurable features of the module are used
The tools are executed on the engineering workstation (EwS) and become part of the application or System.lNI file loaded into the TMR processor. The TMR processor automatically configures the input module after downloading the application and during active/standby switching. The IEC 61131 toolset provides the main interface for configuring input modules. Details of the configuration tools and configuration sequence are provided in the Trusted Toolset Suite product Description, publication ICSTTRM249(PD-T8082).
There are three processes involved in configuring the input module. They are:
1. Use the dictionary editor of the IEC 61131 tool set to define the necessary I/O variables for field input data and module status data.
2. Create one for each I/O module in the I/O Connection editor

3. Use the trusted % system configuration Manager to define customizations
LED indicator mode, per-channel threshold level and noise filtering, and other module Settings.
