CI854A PROFIBUS DP is a high-speed multi-purpose bus protocol (up to 12Mbit/s), which is used to interconnect field devices, such as remote I/O, drivers, low-voltage electrical equipment and controllers. PROFIBUS DP can be connected to AC 800M through CI854A communication interface. Classic CI854A includes two PROFIBUS ports to realize line redundancy, and CI854A also supports PROFIBUS master station redundancy. CI854B is a new PROFIBUS-DP master station, which can replace CI854A in the new installation. By using two CI854A communication interface modules, the redundancy of master station is supported in PROFIBUS-DP communication. CI854A master station redundancy can be combined with CPU redundancy and CEXbus redundancy (BC810). CI854A These modules are installed on DIN rails and directly connected with S800 I/O system and other I/O systems, including all PROFIBUS DP/DP-V1 and FOUNDATION Fieldbus skilled systems.
