The 531X207LCSAEG1 is a local Area network (LAN) current source board developed for the General Electric 531X series replacement board. As an alternative board, the card can be used in a range of GE branded drives and exciters. When installed in the driver, the current source board provides A rated voltage of 5 VDC and 15 VDC power supply and a voltage limited current source of 0.3 A for the driver's LAN. All power to the card comes from the 115 VAC fuse protection input power supply.

The LAN operation of the drive depends on whether the board is running properly. The 531X207LCSAEG1 includes a number of configurable options that allow users to apply the board to many tasks. The only jumper on the board is labeled JP1, allowing users to choose between a 5 VDC and a 15 VDC power supply. Position 1.2 allows 5 VDC power, while position 2.3 provides 15 VDC power.
