The SD832 power supply unit is designed to comply with all applicable electrical safety data specified in the Harmonized European Standard publication EN 50178 and other safety and functional data required by EN 61131-2 and UL 508.

The secondary output circuit can be used for SELV or PELV applications. They are switching mode power supply units that convert the supply voltage to 24 volts direct current. These power supplies can be used in both non-redundant and redundant applications.

SD832 Redundant applications require the diode voting unit SS823 or SS832. With the SD83x series power supply unit, no power filter is required. They offer soft boot functionality; Powering on the SD83x does not trip fuses or ground fault circuit breakers.
