S800 I/O is a comprehensive distributed modular process I/O system that can communicate with parent controllers and PLCs through industry standard fieldbuses. The CI801 fieldbus communication interface (FCI) module is a configurable communication interface that can perform operations such as signal processing, monitoring information collection, OSP processing, hot configuration InRun, HART slot, and I/O module configuration. FCI is connected to the controller via PROFIBUS-DPV1 fieldbus.
