REB670 Intelligent microcomputer protection device is known for flexibility of application. It is specially designed for the protection and monitoring of power system busbars, T-connected lines and branch lines, and has a wide range of applications from medium voltage to ultra-high voltage. Its expandable input and output hardware blocks enable the REB670 to handle single-bus, dual-bus with or without nipple wiring, dual-circuit breaker wiring, and a variety of on-line forms of one-half circuit breaker differential protection.

The REB670-1MRK002820 can be selectively and reliably removed quickly for all types of phase or ground in protected areas of directly grounded or low-impedance grounded power systems, while for ungrounded or high-resistance grounded power systems, all types of multi-phase faults in protected areas can be correctly operated.

REB670-1MRK002820 provides complete busbar protection, in addition to differential protection, the device has built-in flexible dynamic area automatic selection (corresponding to the isolation switch position). This enables the device to dynamically connect CT to different busbar protection areas, and simultaneously realize the functions of busbar protection and circuit breaker failure trip selection and status monitoring of isolation switch and circuit breaker. Due to its unique measurement principle, the REB670 device requires less master CT than other digital differential protection devices.
