ABB BCU-02 控制单元

连接到一个控制单元的光纤对必须具有相同的长度。用长距离，不同长度的电缆会导致不同的延迟，这可能会产生不必要的延迟对操作的影响。

BCU-02, BCU-12, and BCU-22 are control units used to control the converter through fiber optic links. They contain integrated branch unit functions for collecting and storing real-time data from converter modules to assist in fault tracking and analysis. This data is stored on the SDHC storage card inserted into the SD card slot and can be analyzed by ABB service personnel.

The control unit requires an external 24 V DC power supply. It has three option slots, including I/O expansion, encoder and fieldbus adapter, and removable memory unit. For example, if a control unit needs to be replaced, the memory unit can be moved from the faulty control unit to the new control unit by retaining the parameter settings as follows. The Drive to Drive Link (XD2D) is a daisy chain RS-485 transmission line that allows communication with basic master followers of one master node and multiple followers. The control unit also has an option slot for connecting to the RDCO DDCS communication option board.

The BCU-02 control unit has two fiber optic connections V1 and V2 for connection to the converter module. The BCU-12 control unit has one BPEB-05 board, while the BCU-22 control unit has two BPEB-05 boards. Add five fiber optic connections to each BPEB-05 board. Therefore, BCU-12 has seven connections (V1... V7), while BCU-22 has twelve connections (V1... V12).

The maximum length of the cable is:

1 mm plastic optical cable, 35 meters (115 feet)

200m hard clad quartz fiber optic cable, 100 meters (328 feet).

The fiber optic pairs connected to a control unit must have the same length. Using cables of different lengths over long distances can lead to different delays, which may have unnecessary delays and impact on operations.
