The 1762-IF4 is a 4-channel voltage/current analog input module that can be connected to a MicroLogix controller. The 1762-IF4 can be mounted with DIN rail or panel mounting.

The 1762-IF4 is a compact four (4) differential channel analog input module. The module supports 4-20 mA and -10 to 10V DC signals. The module is compatible with MicroLogix 1100, 1200 and 1400 programmable logic controllers.


A finger safety cover exists when wiring input terminals. Flat ribbon cables are used to connect various I/O modules. The 1762-IF4 module supports 2-, 3 - or 4-wire transmitter configurations. During troubleshooting, the user should always stay away from the device and always check for any program changes. The safety circuit should always be in series to the main relay.

The 1762-IF4 module shall be installed in a non-hazardous, dry and clean environment, and the circuit shall not exceed the overvoltage Class II standard. Its analog operating voltage range is -10 to 10 volts DC standard voltage and -10.5 to 10.5 volts DC full scale voltage. Its analog operating current ranges from 4 to 20 mA at normal and -21 to 21 mA at full scale. This module enhances the functionality of MicroLogix by allowing additional IO operations on the system. It requires minimal spacing and can be mounted on a DIN rail or panel. The module communicates through the 1762 bus interface and receives information from 5 to 24 volt DC power supplies.
