Provide connections for eight FTE cables from the controller in the cabinet and CFIMs series. The 9th port provides the uplink to FTE monitoring network. Provide 24-generation direct current for the control device.

The C300 controller is built using a C-series form factor, which uses an input-output termination assembly (OTA) and an electronic module installed and connected to the IOTA. A C300 controller contains all control functions and communication functions with plug-in modules. C300 controller can run in non-redundant and redundant configurations. Several operations require a second identical controller and connecting cable, which is a typical configuration. The C300 controller is connected to the relevant I/O hardware through a pair of I/O link interface cables. The C-series modules include: Input/Output Terminal Assembly (OTA), which includes the connection between 10M and field wiring, and Input/Output Module (OM), which includes most electronic devices required to perform specific I/O functions. IOM is plugged into IOTA.
